Sophos Anti-Virus 9.0.5 does not comply with policy

running ESAP 1.6.5 and getting the following error causing connection termination ...

Host Checker policy 'Check Corporate AV' failed on host 10.x.x.x  for user 'USER_NAME'. Reason: 'Sophos Anti-Virus 9.0.5 does not comply with policy. Compliance requires real time protection enabled.; Anti-Virus or Anti-Spyware software listed in security requirements is not installed.'. Info AUT23181 2010-10-30 09:43:27 - ive - [10.x.x.x] USERNAME (Company System Access Realm)[Role for Company Managed Systems] - Session for user username on host 10.x.x.x has been terminated.

also appears auto update does not work as well ...  a lot of upset users becuase they keep getting dropped

Did you ever get this resolve? I am having the exact problem and Juniper engineer have no clue.

When you saw this happen, do you see that Sophos is truly not running? If it is being updated, the real-time protection service does actually stop.
