Re: Splunk Web Pages and the SA box

OK, allowing custom headers does seem to help, now the Splunk search app is showing data and able to search.

However, the "Loading.." message still never disappears.

Re: Splunk Web Pages and the SA box

Thank you for the update; glad to hear that some of the application is now working. To go forward in determining what is happening, your best bet is a JTAC case.

Re: Splunk Web Pages and the SA box

Thanks.

For now I will leave it as is.

If I will run into further problems I will contact the JTAC.

Re: Splunk Web Pages and the SA box

Hi,

I do have the same problem. (Spluink 5.0.1, SA 7.3R1)

But even with custom headers configured I do not see any search output. How did you configure your policy for Splunk?? Thanks a lot for your help!

Regards,

Michaela

Re: Splunk Web Pages and the SA box

Beside enabling the custom headers I created simple Web Resource profile of type "Custom" and entered the Splunk URL and left the default policy...

Re: Splunk Web Pages and the SA box

One more question: Do you use http or https to access splunk server??

Re: Splunk Web Pages and the SA box

No, nothing to do with Java in my case.

I use https, so the URL I use is:  https://splunkserver.domain.local:8000

And the access policy looks like:

https://splunkserver.domain.local:8000/* Allow

Re: Splunk Web Pages and the SA box

No problem.

I did not move to 7.3  since JTAC recommendation is still 7.2x Smiley Happy
