Sprint SmartView disconnects when NC launches

Sprint has a new AirCard application called SmartView. Their older app, PCS Connection Manager works fine. The new app, SmartView, will disconnect right after Network Connect estalishes a connection with the IVE. You can't reconnect to Sprint until NC is terminated.

Has anyone seen this problem or have a resolution. Im using v6.0R6.

I figured out the problem. By default, the Sprint SmartView has an option called "Connection Maintenance" It can be found under Tools/Options/Rules Engine

Connection Maintenance must be set for "Maintain established connection..." not the default of "Disconnect if any other connection available".

With this set, the connection is not dropped when NC establishes a connection to the IVE.
