Hi,
We are running System Version 7.0R1 (build 16007) on SA 4000. There is a need to upgrade as per routine in order to make device more facility provider and more stable.
Can anyone guide on which release should we move keeping in mind the stability (ofcourse).
Regards
For Juniper products the support team JTAC posts recommendations for OS versions by platform. In the SA series you can see this current recommendation on the software download page.
Choose -- Support -- Select your specific platform SA 4000 on the left --- Click on the download software link on the right
On the software download page is a note on the right side with the JTAC recommendation. This currently reads for the SA 4000. Rx means the highest current patch release of this OS version.
JTAC recommends that customers use the following Secure Access (SA) OS version on their Juniper SA devices. These Secure Access (SA) OS versions are considered to be the most mature. Exceptions to this include: JTAC has specifically recommended a version of Secure Access (SA) OS Software to a customer that is different from what is listed. Specific features are needed that are only available in another version of Secure Access (SA) OS Software. In this case please be sure to download the latest maintenance release Recommended OS for this device selected: 7.1Rx
7.1r12 would be the recommended version for SA4000.
Thanks,
Jay
anything late 7.1 as that is the last software version is the latest for the SA4000
