Support License PulseSecure Virtual Appliance on Azure

Hi everyone,

I want to buy license for

Model: PSA-V (Azure, Number of CPUs - Licensed: 0, Active: 4)

I want to know exactly license i need buy:

PSA5000- VAZ-V-1YR or PSA5000- VAZ-1YR?

This code difference by "V" letters.

I follow this link: https://docs.pulsesecure.net/WebHelp/License_Management/Content/pcs-pps-licenseconf-va-spe_8.3_5.4_r...

Thanks,

LongMH.

Re: Support License PulseSecure Virtual Appliance on Azure

PSA5000-VAZ-1YR: 4 cores on Azure for 1 year
PSA5000-VAZ-V-1YR: looks to be an invalid license; but i agree it is not clear on if that second "V" is required. i apologize for not catching that. i think the best place for help on this will be your sales team as they have additional information.
looking at the document again, i think the second "V" is not required.

Re: Support License PulseSecure Virtual Appliance on Azure

It should be the PSA5000-VAZ-V-1YR as that indicates it will be on the Azure platform rather than an on-prem virtual server
your account rep will be able to help confirm; but the note at the end of the document you posted indicates the same

Re: Support License PulseSecure Virtual Appliance on Azure

Hi

I have confuse about license code.
The following is the list of license SKUs for VA-SPE/ PSA-V appliances On-Premise and Public Cloud platforms:

  • PSA5000- VXX-1YR: Virtual Appliance allows usage of four CPU cores - Subscription 1 yearsNOTE: The XX in the SKUs represents the applicable cloud platform.
For example, AZ for Azure, PSA5000- VAZ-V-1YR.

Can you explain it?

Thanks,

LongMH.

Re: Support License PulseSecure Virtual Appliance on Azure

I believe that PSA5000-VAZ-V-1YR is: 4 cores on a Azure-based virtual appliance for 1 year
compared to
PSA5000-V-1YR is 4 cores on ESX/KVM (non-cloud) virtual appliance for 1 year
Does that help?

Re: Support License PulseSecure Virtual Appliance on Azure

No, actually i confuse about:

"The following is the list of license SKUs for VA-SPE/ PSA-V appliances On-Premise and Public Cloud platforms:"

  • PSA5000- VXX-1YR: Virtual Appliance allows usage of four CPU cores - Subscription 1 year. And the link guide me fill XX by platform with example:
NOTE: The XX in the SKUs represents the applicable cloud platform.
For example, AZ for Azure, PSA5000- VAZ-V-1YR.
I think fill AZ to XX and License will be: PSA5000- VAZ-1YR, but example is PSA5000- VAZ-V-1YR and have "V" letter, i want to know what is difference between PSA5000- VAZ-V-1YR and PSA5000- VAZ-1YR.

Thanks,

LongMH.
