System version/Junos Pulse compatibility

I'm posting to ask for a sanity check.  If I'm reading the release notes correctly, we may need to update our Junos Pulse clients, but I'd prefer not to if we don't have to.

Currently, our MAG-SM160's are at system version 7.2R4.  The Junos Pulse client version on Windows laptops is v3.1.1.30247.

The recent release of MacOS 10.9 will force is to update the MAG-SM160's to 7.4R7.

Can a Windows PC with Junos Pulse client v3.1.1.30247 connect to an appliance running 7.4R7?

Hi,

The options are :

1. Install the Pulse client for 4.0r7 on MAC machines by running the mac client on the machines and disable under Maintenance >system options on MAG device

Enable web installation and automatic upgrade of Junos Pulse Client

The 3.1x pulse client on windows can still connect.

2. If Enable web installation and automatic upgrade of Junos Pulse Client is checked, the windows clients will be shown a message to upgrade which they can accept or deny everytime they launch Pulse.

Mac clients will be automatically upgraded via web.
