Trend Micro Security for Mac 2.0.1036 not working

I have a laptop with OS X Maverick (10.9.2), the host checker seems to install correctly but then I get the following message: Trend Micro Security for Mac 2.0.1036 does not comply with policy. Compliance requires real time protection enabled. I check my Trend server and all settings are correct. Does anybody else have this issue? any ideas?

I have not heard of any issues with Trend Micro Security for Mac 2.0.1036.  I'll attempt to download the trial version from their site and confirm if I can replicate the issue.  It looks like the trial provides 2.0.1279.

Do you have a JTAC ticket open for this issue?  I believe I see the issue.  It looks like checking RTP status is failing unless it is run under root.  We'll need you to run a diagnostic on the problematic machine to see if this is the same issue.  We can send you the required application via a case.

  No at this time I have not open a case. Do you have or know of any knowledge article that point to a solution?
