Upgrade Cluster SA4500: 7.1R4.1 > 8.0R10

Hello,

I have a cluster of SA4500 with a version of 7.1R4.1 and I'm looking to upgrade them to the 8.0R10 version. From what I understood in the release notes of the 8.0R1, first I need to upgrade to the 7.1R16 or later.

My first question is to know if the later means 7.1+ (7.2...) or only 7.1R16+?

My second question, if it means 7.1R16+ where I can find the service packages for them? I noticed only the 7.2 and later are available on the website.

Last question, can I upgrade directly to the 8.0R10 after being in the 7.1R16 or should I use the 8.0R1 before?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Upgrade Cluster SA4500: 7.1R4.1 > 8.0R10

Typically the "or greater" lists the minimum level so greater release chains are good.

You can get no longer publicly availabe releases by opening a support case on the Juniper site if needed.

For the 8.0R10 upgrade check those release notes for the minimum version requirement.

Also check the release notes for your 7.2 upgrade to be sure you are at the required levels for this.
