User accounts to PC mapping in RDP Resource Profile

Hello Experts

I have scenario, I configured four local users on the SSLVPN. Each user need to access his own PC through RDP.  What I understand, I need to create four users and four roles and four resource profile (one for each RDP). I am wondering how I can do using only one role and depending upon username or somethingelse, respective RDP should be shown to that user.

I am doing through userattr.url for AD users but I am not sure how to do the same for local users.

Appreciated on the input

Re: User accounts to PC mapping in RDP Resource Profile

Use the attribute username in the terminal services address like <USERNAME>.mycompany.com and for each user create a CNAME record for each user like johndoe.mycompany.com->the-user-pc.mycompany.com. You only need one realm and role for this.

Re: User accounts to PC mapping in RDP Resource Profile

The CNAME records should be created on the DNS server that the SSL VPN gateway uses for name resolution (defined under System > Network on the gateway)

Thanks. I managed to configure the CNAME and its working. But bookmark name should be the IP or PC name. Is that possible?

Re: User accounts to PC mapping in RDP Resource Profile

You can create separate bookmarks for each user (for the one resource), but it would be easier if you simple name it 'my pc' or something like that.
