User monitoring on SA700

We have various users that work from home and my manager is asking if there is a way to monitor the amount of traffic generated over the Network connect to determine if the user that is working from home really is working. Is there a way to gather this type of data?

I haven't looked in detail but I think this is contained in Radius accounting data. - Ken

Re: User monitoring on SA700

The best way would be to use the RADIUS Accounting feature. However, this would work only if you have a RADIUS server cnfigured as the Auth server for your realm.

Another way would be to filter the User Access logs with the ID JAV20023. This would give an indication of the bytes read and written during the NC session. Below is an extract of this entry,

2011-06-21 18:01:12 - NODENAME - [x.x.x.x] Root::User(UserRealm)[UserRole] - Closed connection to TUN-VPN port 443 after 43 seconds, with 445 bytes read (in 2 chunks) and 3462 bytes written (in 38 chunks)
