Hi All,
I have a customer who rolls out NetConnect like my company, unfortunately I do not believe there is way to have two NetConnect sessions running simultaneously therefore I have to keep logging off on and on if I wanted to access Corporate items or the end customer.
Someone has now suggested the client to use WSAM, therefore I am wondering would it be possible for me to have both NetConnect and WSAM running at the sametime?
So does that allows me to retain my Corporate access and secondly for specific applications (such as SAP) I can use WSAM to access the end customer both at the same time??
I work on various remote offices and need both Corporate and Client access at the same time - would it be possible with the above method?
Thanks
Si
Hi Simon,
we cannot have wsam and nc run sat the same time.
You can use NC + core access simulteneously
NC + terminal services simultaneously.

Jay
Hi Jay,
Thanks for your response, I have been doing a fair bit of "googling" and came across this point in the Juniper Forums albiet 3 years ago which did say it was possible.

Thanks
Jazz
Hi Jazz,
That forum link talks about connecting to 2 different SA devices site 1 and site 2
Yes it is possible that way.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for confirming and your rapid responses.
It will be as so:
Current Scenario
[PC-1] ---> <internet> ---> [SA-1 // SSL VPN NetConnect] = Corporate Access
[PC-1] ---> <internet> ---> [SA-2 // NetConnect] = Client Access
Ideal Scenario:
[PC-1]---> <internet> ---> [SA-1 // SSL VPN NetConnect] ---> <internet> ---> [SA-2 // WSAM] = Corporate Access and Client Access
Would the ideal scenario be viable? Two different SA's at different sites
Thanks
Si
Hi Si,
I do not think it is different connecting to one site or 2 sites.
If you launch WSAM first,launch NC on same machine, NC terminates wsam connection
if you launch NC first and then launch WSAM, both launches succesfully
Or you could install a VM on your machine or an ESX server , access that VM from your machine or through RDP(if VM is on ESX server) and access corporate and client access

Jay

no, this cannot be done. i have heard of it working, yes, but it is not supported to run both clients at the same time, either same or different servers
