VDI Access w/o NC or WSAM

Greetings,

Has anyone had any success using the SA to replace a VMWare View Security Server?

After logging in to the SA the VDI link appears to work, correctly reading my desktop. When trying the to access VDI I download and run the "Juniper Terminal Services Client" and then get an "Access is denied" error message.

Does anyone know if there are any settings required in the VMWare View Client?

Thanks.

Yes it works very nice.

Make sure you set the Server Connection Time-out high enough ( -> 180 seconds, if your vd is in suspend mode it can take a while before it can connect)

You only have to make a resource profile

Use SSL or not - is configured in de connection server

-servername

Username = <USERNAME>

Var Password =<PASSWORD>

Domain name = Your DOMAIN Name

Thats all

What protocol are you using? VDI is supported for RDP and not PCoIP.

What does your user access log say? Is the view client already installed on the PC?

Please make sure the target host (VDI server, VM) is allowed in the policy or profile.

The easiest way it to auto-allow policy targets in a profile.

Best of luck!

Re: VDI Access w/o NC or WSAM

Yes only RDP protocol is supported.

Goto configuration - Virtual Desktops- VMware and upload the client

When no client is installed it will download it from here.
