Version 9.1R8.2 and Windows 7 clients

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me.

We are looking to upgrade PCS from  V9.0r4.1 to V9.1R9, and understand that this means no further support for clients on Windows 7. Understandably, the only advice I have been provided through Pulse Support is to upgrade all to Windows 10. I have been told that this is not possible in the time frames given, so was hoping to provide some sort of assurance to the change control team, that although we will be out of support, other customers are still using windows 7 clients without major issues.

Is there anyone out there who is able to confirm this?

Many Thanks

Re: Version 9.1R8.2 and Windows 7 clients

As you stated, Pulse is recommending any customer upgrade to Windows 10 when possible. We also understand that large enterprise customers face challenges doing this. Pulse Secure will continue to offer best-effort support on the Pulse Client when running on the Windows 7 platform with the caveat that our engineering team will not entertain any bug fixes that are Windows 7 specific. There could be exceptions to this but it would have to be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
