I have a Windows 8.1 Phone. And Trying my hardest to use the Junos Pulse App. And it always gives me an IO error when I try and Sign in.
Im signing in the same way as I would if I was using the IOS/Android Version of Junos with my same Credintals and the way the login name is formated and such. Ours is "User [email protected]" And we use spaces in our username.
Once in a while it gives me the Authenication Cannot Complete Error 2250. But most the time it just says IO Error.
Hi Sammy,
Windows 8.1 is supported only for desktop mode pulse clients, there is no pulse clients for mobiles with respect to windows phone . Its availble only for android and IOS devices. The same is mentioned in the belwo supported platform list of SA 8.0 version. There is no support information for windows phone.
So this is working as expected, if you need to know the support roadmap and more information on this I recommend you to work with Juniper support.
Hope this helps.
Note: If I have answered your questions, you could mark this post as accepted solution, that way it could help others as well. Kudo will be a bonus thanks!

Hi,
Does it work without the spaces in the username?

Kannan, unless I am mistaken, there is indeed a Windows Phone 8 Pulse App

Yes, there is a pulse app for windows 8.1 phones.

Jay
The client is available only in Windows store. No comment on Juniper pages.
And no documentation is available either on Juniper homepage nor elsewhere. The comments I found varies from "great works from scratch" to "no way to get it work"
Any experience or tips?
I got it working, but still having some problems with it. If I use the main url and realm, with just single factor authentication it works great. The things that are not working so far are using virtual hostname, or sub url. Another thing that does not seem to work properly is the autotriggered VPN option, if I connect manually it works perfectly, but the VPN is not starting autmatically once I start an url or app (like RDP).
Only had very little time to test it, and this was with the Windows Phone 8.1 developer preview, not with the recent update 1 release. Will try to find some time to do some more testing with the latest Windows Phone version.
