Ok, I have a weird issue that is only affecting one user of my SSL VPN, myself! My WSAM launches but stays in a disconnected state and there is no way that I can find to tell it to connect.
I have another admin in my office who logged in and it connects normally, same Windows 7 32bit, same model Dell laptop, same roles and permissions. It is very odd.
I have file sharing enabled in WSAM, but it doesn't even get to the point where it enables it. It just launches and sits disconnected with a white SAM icon.
Help? Suggestions?
Are you logged in as Admin? Do you have the UAC turned off?
Never figured out why it was happening. However, it is now fixed. I have another vpn that i use to test before an OS upgrade and I logged into that one and it installed the latest version. Later I went back to the Prod vpn and it worked. Weird. Almost like something got corrupted somewhere (although I tried reinstalling the same version too)
