WSAM is not launched by Internet Explorer 11

Hi,

I have recently upgraded an SA4000 from 7.1R13 to 7.1R17.

What i can see is that when using IE 11 to connect to the SA the WSAM is not launched and when i click on it(manually launch it) i get this error: Your browser is not supported for this component.

Hi,

I forgot to add. When i connect to SA from Firefox it works OK. The WSAM is launched automatically.

IE 11 isn't officially supported until 7.4r7.

From the release notes:

Support for the following platforms and browsers are added in 7.4R7:
a. Windows 8.1
b. Internet Explorer-11 on Windows 8.1 and Windows 7
c. Mac OS Ð 10.9

As you have mentioned that you are using SA 4000 you will not be able to upgrade to 7.4R7.

only from 7.4R7 IE 11 browser and windows 8.1 are supported.
