We are using a SA4500 to give our customers access to their environment. We have a license for a specific count of users. Is there a possibility to warn me via email when the maximum amount of users is almost reached ?
The IVE itself does not have that ability but it does generate syslog messages when such events occur. So you would need to setup a syslog server that has the ability to send email based on specific alerts which most do.

Yes a syslog server is the best way for notification.
Also keep in mind that the SSL VPN has a 10% buffer in regards to licensed users. For instance, if you have a 100 user license, then 110 users will be allowed to login and the 111th user will be denied. More information can be found in the following KB:
