What can I do with an old SA-3000?

I have an old SA-3000 that was replaced by my current 4000. I was using it for testing upgrades, but apparently its a boat anchor now since the platform is not supported by 6.1 and newer OS.

What can I do with it? Any ideas?

I think you can learn a lot from the lack of response.

My only suggestion would be to think of a "nice to have" use which needs no functionality beyond release 5 and which you could afford to lose with no notice. EOL doesn't mean kaput, but you have to be ready for that.

Well, after replacing the 9/10 fans that had failed over the years, we changed the hard disk and now run VMware on it for our test systems!

We may be interested in purchasing your SA3000 for a repair/replacement of an existing unit. Please advise if the unit is still available.
