What happens when you reach the hardware license capacity

Any one known what happens if the concurrent users reaches the limit on a box with the maximum number of licenses installed. For example if I have a MAG-SM160 with a 1000 licenses what happens when the 1001 users tries to connect? Do you still get the 10% grace messages of is 1000 a hard limit?

10% grace will be get only with ICE license.

With normal con current user license there will be no grace

the 1001th user will not be able to log in.

You can simulate this with a SM-160 with 10 user license. 11th user will not be able to log in.

It should behave as any other limit & give you the overage warning.

Just to be 100% sure you're saying up 1100 connections would be possible but above 1000 they will get the warning

Hi ,

Yes I  can confirm  1100 user connections is possible, above 1000 connections they will be getting warning message as updated. I have tested this in my lab.

I can confirm had 1100. However the VPN complains back to users.

Thank you for the confirmation. Yes, once you are in that 10% overage allotment, users will be notified that the system is reaching licensed capacity.
