Which direction should we go?

Today we 2 SA2000 in active/passive cluster mode.

as sa2000 is not supported anymore, and windows 8 users are begining to have issues to use portal and RDP connections, we need to migrate ASAP.

The question is:

Should we migrate to SA2500 or MAG2600?

Any inputs would be deeply appreciated!

Re: Which direction should we go?

I do not know when the x500 appliances will be EOL'ed however; the MAGs are replacing the x500 appliances and should be used for new purchases.

Re: Which direction should we go?

i am also thinking about MAG2600, but not trusting the smaller size, looks fragile! lol.

Would i have the same functions? right now we are using the CITRIX JAVA CLIENT, do you know if it will be suported?

I have heard the same thing from others as well; yes, it is still very sturdy. If you are concerned about it, though, you might look at the 4600.
Yes, you will have the same functionality as they run the same OS.

Re: Which direction should we go?

last question!

When the SAx500 will be discontinued?

MAG's will take over all SA line up?

Will proceed with the purchase of 4 MAG2600 appliances!
