Windows 10 - Hides RDP (Pulse secure terminal) session when minimized

8 out of 10 times when I minimize the full screen RDP, it hides or goes background. I then have to open Task manager, Expand Pulse secure Terminal, then double click on the RDP.

Its not under system tray either.

Sometimes when I expand Pulse Secure Terminal, the RDP would be just white..no icon and can't double click, if I do it collapses the PST. So then my only option is to End that process and start a new session again. This happens only on Windows 10. I wish I could test a direct RDP to some machine to see if this happens, but I don't have any host to test.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Re: Windows 10 - Hides RDP (Pulse secure terminal) session when minimized

This is an issue for me as well, if the RDP goes full screen it disappears from the task bar, if I were to then minimize it, it is STILL not in the taskbar and I have to go to the Task Manager and "Bring to Front" on it just to see it.

This is a REALLY annoying problem that I am only getting in windows 10, I have many co-workers also having this same issue.

if you haven't opened a case with support, please do; this is not something we are currently aware of
what version of the PCS OS are you using? was it doing this previously? and is it only happening when using full screen?

I have the same issue. Windows 10 (it's specific to that, likely a build as well).

How do i go about opening a case.

Go to my.pulsesecure.net and login with the credentials you initially registered with; you can then click on the cases link to create a case. You can also call us at 844-751-7629.

Please confirm what version you are using. This sounds like something that is fixed by 8.3R7 and 9.0R3

I have the same issue. When in full screen mode, the Pulse Secure Terminal Services Client disappers from the taskbar.

I am on Windows 10 Pro 1903 and have Pulse Secure Terminal Services Client version 8.1.14.59737. The file dsTermServ.exe is served  from my User Profile's App Data -> Roaming.

How can I update the Pulse Secure Terminal Services client?
