Windows 8 - Host Checker with 3rd party anti-virus
We have some users which have installed Nano Antivirus in their Windows 8 machines.
When Host Checker run, it fails the validation of the security policy:
Windows Defender 4.3.0215.0 does not comply with policy. Compliance requires real time protection enabled and successful complete system scan. NANO AntiVirus 0.26.0.54268 does not comply with policy. Compliance requires real time protection enabled and latest virus definitions.
But Nano has file guard enabled (RTP) and has the virus definitions up to date.
When we try to open the Windows Defender to do anything, we get the message:
"This app has been turned off and isn't monitoring your computer."
In the Action Center, the virus protection is defined to be Nano. Antivirus.
Do you have problems with other anti virus installed in Windows 8? Or this is just a Nano problem?
I've test this with IVE 7.3R5 with ESAP 2.3.9 and2.4.2.
