Windows Defender 4.10.0209.0 does not comply with policy

I did a search in the forum, saw similar problems but no solution.

 

I'm using pulse secure to connect to the vpn of Durham University. I'm using windows 8.1. I have no antivirus except the updated windows defender 1.313.17.58 which is turned on. But I have this message with windows defender 4.10.0209.0 . This version of windows defender does not exist. It corresponds to a version of Microsoft Security Essentials which is on windows 7. I always had windows 8.1 . This is odd.

Can you please replicate the issue and provide the Pulse Client logs for review. Please send the logfile download link to me as PM.

 

Pulse Client Logs:

1. Open Pulse Client.
2. File >> Logs >> Annotate >> "host-check"
3. File >> Logs >> Log level >> Detailed.
4. Replicate the issue i.e. wait till the pulse client shows the non-complaince error message.
5. File >> Logs >> Save as.
