Windows Login and Cached Credentials

Hi all,

We have issues with cached passwords and/or staff forgetting their passwords.

I know we can use machine credentials at the Windows login screen but is this scenario valid

User can select either "Pulse login" or "Normal Windows login (with cached credentials)" at the Windows login screen.

If user selects "Pulse Login", the VPN connection is then dropped on a successful login? We don't want staff to always be on the VPN after connection.

@DaveG We should be using machine or user tunnel mode, machine cert should be used for machine authentication. Machine tunnel will be created during the user logon screen and will get disconnected once they login to the windows.

But you don't want the user VPN to start automatically after login to Windows?

We don't want the VPN to start automatically after login because we wouldn't have (or need) enough licences for every user that connects.
