Windows Password Expiry Notification

Hi, my user authentication is done using certificate authentication via cert server, have just noticed that because of this its not displaying if a users password is about to expire. Previously we used LDAP server and when this is set as a auth server within the realm you get an option to 'enable password management' to display password expiry.

Anyone know if its possible to get the password expiry to show for a user when not using LDAP auth server? as im currently only using LDAP for directory/attributes so i dont get the 'password' options within the realm. Thanks.

Re: Windows Password Expiry Notification

no, it is not
if you want to get the password expiration notification, you will need to use the ldap server for authentication (either primary or secondary)
you can mimic dual auth in your deployment by enabling the option to require certificates to access the realm and then have ldap as the primary auth server
