Hello Junos Pulse - Team,
is there any Client planned for the new Windows Phone 7 Devices? We`re currently planning a roll out in our Enterprise Environment, and a Junos Client for these Devices would be great.
Thanks for a short reply.
Please add us to the list if there is a client. We've got a lot of these devices in house and on the way (moving away from Apple's expensive and business unfriendly environment) and getting the Pulse client would seal the deal.
FWIW, core rewrite seems to work beautifully on these devices (both WP7 and WP7.5).
Please work with your account team for requesting this type of access.
Any news on this? Would also be interested in a solution for WP7, Mango.
So we've put this request in quite a few times and haven''t heard a thing.
Has there been any movement on this? If we could get a oulse client in the market place to do automatic provisioning that would be a great first step. VPN tunneling would be even better.
There are no plans for a Windows Phone VPN client this time. We are interested in the platform but unfortunately Microsoft isn't making any APIs available for us to develop a VPN client.
So even if we decided to press on with the development of a VPN client for Windows Phone, it's technically not even feasible right now.
If you have any influence with Microsoft, you can always request that the provide the necessary APIs/hooks for third-party companies to develop a VPN client.

How about just a lightweight client that we could use to deploy activesync settings and point them at the web interface of the SA / MAG? I'm thinking something along the lines of the Managed Pulse platform you offer.
I'll try and use my "pull" to get MS to move on this But seriously, I can't believe that if Juniper went to MS and said "Let's build a VPN into WP7 using our tech" that MS would turn them down.
Thanks for taking the time to reply, it's good to see Juniper is listening.
