add html content at the bottom of the dashboard

Hi all,

I was asked by a collegue if it was possible to add html content at the bottom of the link page. (link page is the one you get once you successfully logged in).

The goal is to show some monitoring infos (as you can't show the monitoring graphs from the admin pags to a regular user), and

also configuration information at the bottom of the link page, and make it as easy as possible.

I know there is a way to customize the login page, but this is not the goal, as the html code to be displayed may content login/password information.

The only alternative I could propose was to save the infos to an image file and use this as logo on the top of the page.

Opening automatically a monitoring web page is not a good solution, as you need to come back to the main page to get your links.

Another alternative could be to use the links from the IVE within a web page hosted on another server, but I don't know if the links can be exported and reused on another web server.

thanks.

I'm not sure it would meet your needs, but you might look at the notification message in the UI. The "Welcome" section of the page includes this, and it has the ability to contain at least some simple html.

hi,

From what I remember, the notification only appear once, then is not shown anywhere in the dashboard.

The user notification is on the bookmarks page, so it is seen any time the user navigates to that page. I configured ours to take up the left-hand side of the page, with the web and TS bookmarks and applications (SAM, NC) on the right.

if you click user roles, default options, UI options, under personalized greeting enable the show notification message, that box will accept html, i currently have some basic hmtl in there like this

You are logged on as, <user><BR><BR>
<font size="1", color="red"><b><i>Did you Know?</i></b></font>

<br><br><b>blah blah blah, type your message here.</b>
<br><br><b>
