disable client launch with web portal

Hello,

i am searching for a solution to disable the launching of the Network Connect or Pulse software by the portal Web.

I wish to prevent the users from downloading the software on any machine.

Is there an issue for that ?

Are you talking about JunosPulse/Network Connect Auto Lunch.

If yes,

Go to your role > VPN Tunneling   [version 7.2 and above]

diable auto-lunch  and the save the config.

Auto-launch
	Use auto-launch to automatically start the client application when users sign in

Navigate to the user role--->overview

7.2x and above SA OS versions :

Disable Junos pulse and vpn tunneling

7.1x and previous SA OS versions

disable network connect

Hello,

if i select "Disable Junos pulse and vpn tunneling" Pulse cannot work as i want : it's impossible to create SSL tunnel connexion ( and IP fixed attribution ) but the launch button disapared.

Someone had another solution ?

Hi,

So pulse is already pre-installed on the machine and you want to prevent users from downloading the pulse client via web on othr machines.

This needs to be a feature enhancement request.

You can also hide the launch buttons for the VPN clients, both L3 as well as L7, at Users>User Roles>roleName>General>UI Options and enable the "Client Session" panel
