Hi,
Yes we're having the exact same problem. We upgraded to 7.4R6 this morning hoping this problem would have been solved. But unfortunately it doesn't seem like it has.
https://kb.pulsesecure.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB28018 says that 74.R6 will fix some critical issues. According to the release notes (http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/ive/releasenotes/j-sa-sslvpn-7.4r6-releasenotes.pdf) 17 things have been fixed. Also 2 win-term-svcs issues:
53. win-term-svcs-enduser - Premier Java RDP applet fails to launch on Windows 8.1 (with and without pop-up blocking enabled (914012)
54. win-term-svcs-enduser - Terminal service (RDP and CTS) clients may fail to launch on Windows 8.1. (921246)
Does anyone know what the details are of these two issues?
JH
Just read a workaround in another forum post to change hostname to IP address in the TS profile. This solved the problem not only for Win7 with patch KB2830477 installed, but also works for Win8.1
-JH
We have been having the same issue, but not only on Win8.1 but also on some Win7.
We are running V7.3R4.1.
All systems affected are using IE11, but our internal tech support suspect that the issue is caused by a MS change to Remote Desktop that is bult into Win8.1 and available as an update on Win7 - KB2830477
http://support.microsoft.com/KB/2830477
We are working to confirm this.
The IP address workaround you mention works for us also.
I can confirm that IE11 breaks WSAM and generally doesnt work, even in compatability mode on Windows 7. Running 7.1R7 here.
idem for us ; version 7.4R6. Using ip adress in place of host name resolve the porblem for us to.
Same over Here,
version 7.4r4
workaround Ip adress works.
Now we wait for Microsoft or Juniper?
If you change back to dns names, and uninstall/reinstall the juniper client software, does it continue to work?
