i've upgraded from 6.1R2 to 6.4R4.1 (on a SA-4000 machine ) and since then all clients are failing the AV policy check.
i've downloaded the current ESAP version (1.5.5).
even if clients have the required AV product, they will still fail the host checker.
i tryed a troubleshoot by removing all AV clients from the selected product list and left only 1 program ( AVG 9)
i then tryed to connected with a client who has AVG 9 installed but i failed at the AV policy check.
all optional checks are disabled
all remediation options are disabled.
any thought on what might be the problem?
Try uninstalling all the Juniper client programs on the end-points. I've seen this cause some weird problems after upgrading the SA.
If not, your best bet may be to get in touch with TAC.

ive tryed what you suggested - still same problem
i will have to open a case with tech support
after talking with tech support the issue got resolved.
it seems that the virus version monitoring service was not able to update
we rechecked the configuration and everything is working fine now
