Re: hostchecker- member of domain win7

We are having the same problem with Host Checker & McAfee. Have a support ticket open and they had us update ESAP to a new version which did not solve the problem.

Re: hostchecker- member of domain win7

so i upgraded ESAP FROM 1.6.4 TO 1-7-6 and still

McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0.570 does not comply with policy. Compliance requires latest virus definition files

what settings are you using

in Download latest virus definition files, Turn On Real Time Protection ,Start Antivirus Scan checking all?

Re: hostchecker- member of domain win7

For us it is McAfee Internet Security 10.5 build 14.5.130. Support had us upgrade to ESAP 1.8.0 (which was / is not published) as we were already on 1.7.6.

The problem for us isn't the signature definitions but the Full System Scan check. The only way we can get past it is to uncheck the required full scan in last xx days setting.

I'm not 100% sure what settings are being used as there is no corresponding entry in the ESAP table for the version we are running.

Re: hostchecker- member of domain win7

is it normal that host check is starting before entering username and pwd?

That is configurable, if I remember correctly.
