how to give certain users static ip addresses?

well i have been trying to figure out an easier way of doing this. One way is to have a role for each static ip request user but that is not somethign that i want to do. In the cisco IPSEC days radius could do this but can something similiar be done in juniper?

Assuming you use Radius authentication and the radius server can return the IP to be used as a return attribute then you can define the attribute in the NC profile/ IP pool section. Example: If you were using framed-ip attribute then the syntax would be:

<userATTR.Framed-IP-Address>
