how to upgrade SA4500

Dear All ,

Could some one please let me know the recommended version to upgrade sa4500 box and also share KB or procedure to upgrade SA4500 box .

JTAC Recommended release for this product is: 7.3R7.0

Hi ,

Yes you can directly upgrade from 7.1R1.1 to 7.3R8.0.

If both Nodes are in same LAN, simply log into one node which says leader and browse to the 7.3r8 package and upgrade the node which will push the software to the other node.

You should :

1. Take a backup of user.cfg and system.cfg from both nodes

2. save all log files and system snapshots and delete them to free space

Rollback option is there in case something goes wrong.

Thanks for your reply . Both the SA4500 are in cluster so procedure will remain same or is there any change in upgradation . Could we directly upgrade from 7.1R1.1 to 7.3R8.0.
