Hi All,
I have the following problem, I am traying to connect to VPN with Network Connect for Mac OS.
After I enter the VPN url in my broser and Host Checker start working I am getting thi error message:
Anti_Virus_Check | |||
|
But I have installed and running the Symantec iAntiVirus in that path.
I can not connect to the VPN for this error message.
Do you know how can I fix this or what is the proper setup?
Thank you so much!
Alex
Hi Alex,
The issue reported by you is known and already identified internally by our QA team.
This is a bug in OPSWAT SDK and it has been fixed in ESAP version 2.2.1 and above.
You could download ESAP 2.2.3 which the latest available in our support website.
http://www.juniper.net/support/products/esap/#sw
Upgrading and activating ESAP 2.2.3 should resolve your issue.
Should you see issue happening inspite of upgrade, please open a JTAC case.
Note: If this answers your question/issue, you could mark this as accepted solution, that way it would benefit others. Kudos is a bonus thanks!

Raveen
Hi Alex,
What SA OS and ESAP version are you running?
Regards,
Jay
Hi Raveen,
thank you for your replay, the IT department of my company have upgraded ESAP to 2.2.3 but I still having the same issue.
Also the VPN is running SA 7.1. not upgrade to 7.2 anytime soon.
Can you help me?
Thank you!
Alex
Hi Jay,
the VPN is runninf ESAP 2.2.3 and SA 7.1
Thank you
Alex
HI Alex,
You can't do a pre-defined anti-virus policy in SA OS 7.1X, this option is available only in 7.2x.
In 7.1x, you can check for the process(exe) of iAntiVirus.
Regards,
Jay
Hi Jay
So this means there's no way I can fix my issue unless we upgraded to SA 7.2X?
Thank you
Alex
Hi Alex,
As Jay said you got to do process check for iAntiVirus, if you are using 7.1.
Otherwise, yes, you have to upgrade to 7.2Rx.
Regards,
Raveen
Hi Jay and Raveen
Thank you for your reply, let me understand this. In order to run the VPN in my Mac the VPN server must run 7.2Rx.
What about if I have other brand antivirus running in my Mac, Juniper will only check iAntiVirus?
This issue only happens with iAntiVirus?
Thank you so much!
Alex
Hi Alex,
I will attach a screenshot in 7.2x where you can configure a predefined HC policy for antivirus and capable of checking for any antivirus supported by that ESAP version, this is not available in 7.1x
So if you are running 7.2x, we will check for any AV supported by that ESAP version and we can define a predefined HC policy for anti virus check in 7.2x
Regards,
Jay
