Re: network connect vs. pulse secure

If this is for a new deployment then the legacy Network Connect client has hardly anything over the modern Pulse client. The Pulse client is where all new features and support for modern OS is available. For example Network Connect is not supported on some of the recent MAC OS versions.

Network Connect does have a handful of features that are not available in Pulse as yet however these are mostly for very specific use-cases. Almost all commonly used functionality from Network Connect is now available in the Pulse client.

Re: network connect vs. pulse secure

Our users do not have admin privs and we have found that Pulse Secure does not maintain a VPN connection when switch user is used, but Network Connect does maintain the VPN connection.

We don't normally have to switch user as admin elevation works for most things (Win 10 Pro), but not for appwiz.cpl (programs and features).
