Hello,
I'm upgrading our SA2500 from 7.3R3 to 7.4r5.0. After the install and a reboot the device is still standing on version 7.3R3
I install the package from file. After uploading I get the message 'done', after that I reboot but can't find the new version. What do I wrong?

Is there any error noticed in the logs? If you need to troubleshoot this issue please open a support case.
TO resolve
1. try the upgrade from a different browser.
(or)
2. stage the package first and try upgrading.

I'm assuming the 'done' you are referring to is the 'done' message/acknowledgment for uploading the package/file (was it the small window with the green status bar that went from 0 to 100 %?)
In that case after you click on that 'done' message just wait for a couple of minutes, the system will start the upgrade process which will last for atleast 10-15 minutes or more if you config is big or you have huge log files. Don't reboot the device. The manual reboot might be canceling the upgrade. In some case a manual reboot during the upgrade process can corrupt the file system (i.e.. Reboot using the power switch/power cable) then requiring a factory reset. Once the upgrade starts either monitor the device through serial console or use network pings.
Hello,
the first thing I did was try the upgrade with firefox. That solved the problem!!
After uploading the file installed.
thx for the help guys.

It seems unlikely that the issue was caused by a particular browser, but I suppose anything is possible. I'd be more suspicious of a plug-in installed in IE rather that the browser itself.
When I'm doing a mission critical upgrade I monitor the upgrade process through a terminal app and the console port of the IVE. It can save your bacon if something goes wrong.
