Re: persistent cookies

What cookies are you wanting to persist: user to IVE (authentication ID cookie) OR from IVE to backend server for users?
The former is handled at Users>User Roles>roleName>General>Session Options, persistent session; the latter under web options for the role.

If a user actually clicks on "sign out" the session will be terminated & the cookies for that session removed/invalidated. The persistent session option is for moving away from the IVE web page & then connecting again from that same browser instance (or one that shares the same cookie store)

Re: persistent cookies

We is wanting to persist from IVE to backend server for user.

We need that  If a user  clicks on "sign out" the session will be terminated & the cookies for that session don«t have removed/invalidated.

Is possible ?

Re: persistent cookies

Storing the user cookie to the backend server: as long as the server does not require updates, i don't know why it wouldn't keep alive....as long as it does not go past the cookie expiration/update time.

Storing the IVE cookie on the IVE: No, if a user signs out, that cookie is terminated and users will need to login again

Re: persistent cookies

No. The option for persistent cookies is only for the items stored on the IVE that are intermediated through the rewrite engine; it is not possible to prevent removing from the client machine
