turn off http --> https autoredirect

we have a very old web-server in our server-VLAN that, for legacy reasons, we can't migrate to our DMZ.

what i want to do now is use our SA-4500's IVE to reverse proxy any requests - for improved security over NATing into our server-VLAN.

everything works flawlessly and es expected, but i'd really like to turn off the auto-http -> https redirect as its just necessary. is this even possible?

thanks,

Tom

This is not possible due to security reason.

Re: turn off http --> https autoredirect

At this time there is no option to disable this on the IVE. If you have a firewall in front of the IVE you could block port 80/TCP to gain the same result.

If you'd like to request this feature I'd recommend speaking with your sales engineer.

Thanks
