A few months ago, I created a bookmark to link specific users to their PC. I have a login script that updates a person's <userAttr.ipPhone> field to contain the hostname of their PC. The bookmark works well, but I wanted to enable Applet access.
My PC
HOST : <userAttr.ipPhone>
SERVER PORT : 3389
I get the error message
Failed to save resource profile 'My PC'
Reason: You have entered an invalid hostEven if I make NO changes, I still can't update the bookmark.
I tried to create a new resource and bookmark, but I still get the same "Invalid Host" error.
This is on a 4500 with 6.5R1 (build 14599). I have a clustered pair of 2500s, but I'm unable to create a similar resource and bookmark on them as well. On the clustered pair, I wanted to create a dynamic bookmark with a hostName matching <userAttr.givenName>.
My attributes are available and selected from the LDAP data catalog.
This problem is specific to 6.5R1.
It works in previous IVE release (6.4) and was fixed in 6.5R2
