user > internet connection private ok> ssl connection > ok > needs to restart browser to have internet connection

Hello all,
this is my first post on this forum.

Our users have W7 laptops, IE11 as standard browser. In the browser we use the automaticaly detect settings option.

User starts to work at home > startup pc > launch internet explorer > home router > network settings form internet provider loaded into browser.

then they make Vpn connection > ok

Then they have to relaunch internet so that our proxy server is loaded trough the wpad config.

Is there anyway to solve this with a script so that our users don't have to relaunch internet explorer after a succesfull vpn connection.

thank you very much

Unfortunately, no; IE only downloads the PAC file once and if the content is not available without the VPN tunnel, it will not refresh until a new launch is done
You should be ok to "simply" launch a new instance to get the proxy information.
You may be able to see a different behavior without the unsupported "automatically detect settings" option enabled _and_ defining the PAC detail in the VPN Tunneling connection profile
