I'm trying to get a xenapp setup to work, I get the citrix login and the applications page but when I try to start an application it always tells me "Cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp server. There is no Citrix Xenapp server configured on the specified address".
To me it appears the Citrix piece on the PC is trying to connect outside of the portal so it's not using that 'tunnel'.
If I use SAM it works.
Thanks all.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I've got a resource profile type of citrix web interface/JICA
Using Java ICA Client with Web Interface(NFuse)
Nfuse 5.2 and above
For the metaframe servers I have the entire /16 network set
For Web Access Control I have the entire /16 set
using the /16 to eliminate the problem being a rights issue.
Does that answer your question/make sense?
Thanks! Trying the non-Java ICA with CTS client worked and resolved my original issue.
But I have some users that will will using OSX. Is there a way I can determine on my own if the Java ICA client is installed on the Citrix server? I'm working/testing with a different group, so tracking down and getting an answer from the citrix group may be a time suck.
thanks for the help. Links work fine on OSX if I start NC first. I think that's just the way it's going to have to stay.
