Connect from behind SOCKS Proxy?

Hi,

I'm sitting in a public library that forces all traffic through a SOCKS proxy. Pulse Secure (5.1.6 on Mac OS) appears to stay in the "Connecting" state forever. Can it be told to use the proxy? Unfortunately no pac file or auto config is provided.

The Pulse Secure desktop client does not support the establishment of a VPN connection through a SOCKS proxy.
