I want to install the Pulse Secure desktop client version 9.1r11.4 into a Windows 11 VM running on Hyper-V. I was given an installer by my company. When I run it, the installer says:
Installation complete. You will find the new version of Pulse in the start menu under "Pulse Secure"
However there is nothing related to Pulse in the Start Menu.
I see a few messages in Event Viewer including this:
Product: Pulse Secure -- Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action InstallBranding.A3419F89_923B_4BF7_A233_BB3995E06714, location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Pulse Secure\JamUI\, command: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Pulse Secure\JamUI\jamcommand.exe" -brand "C:\windows\XXXX\files\PulseWin.PulseBranding" -norestart
I replaced the name of my department with "XXXX" in the above message.
How can I install the Pulse desktop client in a Hyper-V VM?
