I am facing issue with Pulse Application Launcher. Below are steps to reach to error.
1. Soon after, I got a pop up for "Open Pulse Secure Appliation Launcher", I clicked on same.
2. It started "Installing setup client module"
3. After 1/2 minutes, I got an error message. "Detected an internal error. Please retry, If the issue persistes, contact you admin"
I am using windows 7 and using pulse secure to connect to company system.
@Kiran What client are you trying to launch through the PSAL? Can you please send the logs over to me as a private message?
Logs would be normally stored under:
C:\ProgramData\Pulse Secure or Juniper Networks\Logging\debuglog.log and debuglog.log.old
C:\Users\Public\Pulse Secure or Juniper Networks\Logging\debuglog.log and debuglog.log.old
I am not able find the paths which you have mentioned in my system.
Kindly let me know what other things I can do.
Oh that's interesting, no "Pulse Secure" or "Juniper Networks" folder under C:\Users\Public or C:\ProgramData path.
NOTE: ProgramData will be hidden by default, you need to enable 'show hidden files' or type the path directly on the window explorer path. Without the debuglogs, it'll very hard to find out the root cause.
Getting the same thing error. Running on macOS 10.14.6. Would like to know how to point this application to be looking at PulseSecure 9.1R8 because it is not letting point it to that application any longer.
@jmaulsby Do you see a params file under ~/Library/Application Support/Pulse Secure directory?
If yes, can you please delete and check the behavior?
Hello, I am getting a Pulse Secure Application Launcher error. I have used Pulse for 5 years and this is the first time I have had an issue. The only change from yesterday (I use it daily) was that I installed Acrobat with McAfee. I have since uninstalled both and rebooted my PC. I have also tried reinstalling the launcher and repairing the application. Nothing is working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
