@theisenb Do you see the Pulse Secure Setup Client component present under uninstall programs list? If yes, then what's the version of the component?
I am having the same problem - where do I send my logging file - my corp IT department is telling me I need to do a complete laptop reimage. Is this true? Or is there a fix. (Unfortunately, that is the VPN death message and will require for the system to be reimaged?) Is this an accruate statement?
I'm constantly having this problem on a windows 10 virtual machine (fresh install).
Network mode is bridged, I have no problems connecting on vpn, only the application launcher won't start and, a minute or two later, the dreaded error box.
Tryied reinstalled multiples times, to no avail. Software version is 9.1.10247

It seems that download call initiated by PulseExt.exe process gets closed abruptly while download the setup client installer file, could be caused by Antivirus/Firewall installed on your machine.
