When attempting to log onto a Customer's Portal, which requires Pulse... when it begins running the Installing Setup Client Module - the progress bar runs for less than a minute - then an error comes up - detected an internal error... I really need help pls
@Mathis Can you please check if the Setup Client has been installed in the machine under control panel >> Add or remove programs. If yes, then whats the version of the client installed?
@Mathis 8.1.X setup client will fail due to codesign certificate issue.
Solution is to upgrade the server to a fix version, uninstall the old components, connect to the VPN server to receive the updated clients.

@Mathis Are you trying to install and use Pulse Client or any other components like Terminal services, etc.?
If you're trying to get Pulse Client, ask the team to provide a setup package (MSI file) and install it manually on your computer (need to admin privileges) and connect to VPN by creating a manual connection. 8.X servers cannot serve the client package through web anymore (after 12th April) due to the cert expiry.
You have to either get the client package installed manually or request the VPN team to upgrade their servers to a patched version as mentioned in the KB.
