Juniper owners, how to get client?

Hi,

I have a number of SRX100 and 240 under support contract. I can't seem to find the VPN clients to download anywhere. Not from the SRX anymore, and not on Juniper.net either. So, how does that work now?

Re: Juniper owners, how to get client?

For all Pulse Secure software, please go to the Pulse Secure Licensing and Download Center at:

https://my.pulsesecure.net

If you have questions about this, reach out to your support representative at:

https://www.pulsesecure.net/support/

Also, please bear in mind that support for dynamic VPN connections to Juniper SRX firewalls will end in Pulse 5.2 and later desktop clients. Please contact your support representative for details on this.

Re: Juniper owners, how to get client?

Well, going to my.pulsesecure.net doesn't get me anywhere. You need an authorisation number of some kind, which I guess you only get if you buy new clients from Pulse Secure. But I'm on a Juniper support, don't have that "authorisation number". And, BTW, pulse secure support doesn't reply.

If you could just tell me what that number is, how I'm supposed to get it, that would maybe help. Nobody else wants to tell me.

Re: Juniper owners, how to get client?

I am sorry you have not had a good experience with the Pulse Secure support team and reaching out to us for further information.

In order to obtain new versions of the Pulse Secure client, you will need to open a case with Juniper and let the SRX team that you need to have them open a case with Pulse Secure to get the Pulse Secure client. I am not sure if they have the process in place on their side; however, that is what is needed.

As a head's up in your planning, the dynamic VPN connection from the Pulse Secure client to the SRX will be deprecated and no longer available in an upcoming version of the Pulse Secure client.

The authorization code is a right to use code that allows download of software for Pulse Secure customers. It is available by purchasing a Pulse Secure appliance and support.

Re: Juniper owners, how to get client?

Is there an alternative or workaround for people that want to use Pulse Client 5.2+ with SRX? I was actually planning to implement this for a disaster recovery scenario where I wouldn't install a full blown PCS.
