We have several user that report very long connection times wiht Junos: 9.0.3 (1599) on MacOSX 10.14.5. Around 1-3 minutes wen it tries to connect. Normal is approx 10-15 sec.
It mostly has it after it comes out of the sleep mode that it takes this long.
Any recommondation on what we can do to improve this situation?
I'm experiencing the same problem using Pulse Secure 9.0.4 (1731): after upgrading macOS from 10.14.4 to 10.14.5 , the time to wait for connection bumped up from about 20 secs to 3 mins. Other colleagues of mine who didn't upgrade and are using the same Pulse version and VPN did not experience that change, so I'm thinking of some issue with last macOS version.
How do I disable lockdown, alwaysOn VPN and traffic enforcement? I have no such options in my Pulse Secure client, are them some server side options?
That's the case for me. It looks like two dsAccessService processes are being spawned, and after I kill the process tree Pulse connects immediately.
Thank you for the info.
Can you please open a case with our support team and provide pulse client diagnostic logs (detailed level) for futher investigation?
I'm not quite sure I know how to do that. Trying to sign up for a support account just led me to a lengthy and invase form, much like others I've seen throughout the site. If there's an easy way to do this I'd be happy to.
Please get in touch with your IT helpdesk team and request them to open a support ticket with Pulse Secure. They will be having an valid contract and an account created in our support database.
