Logging in to multiple PCS servers using different versions of the PCS desktop client

If a user with a higher version of the Pulse Desktop Client connects to PCS server with a lower 'activated' Pulse Desktop Client with this setting enabled: Enable web installation and automatic upgrade of Pulse Secure clients; will the end device install the 'activated' Pulse Desktop Client or will the end device receive an error?

Neither, since its a higher client version it will just connect to the server as long as there is no compatability/known issue.
