Mac OS crashes

Re: Mac OS crashes

Uninstalling the app didn't remove the adapter. I removed it myself yesterday and haven't seen a crash yet, but since it's a random issue I don't know for sure. I would assume there isn't anything else left on my machine otherwise, but I also thought that after uninstalling. I moved the app to trash and let it go through its uninstall process including entering admin password and waiting for multiple confirmations that it had uninstalled (one of which took a couple of minutes to show).

Our IT have an open case from what I hear. Sounds like others are having the same issue.

Thanks,

Jon

RE: Mac OS crashes

We've been seeing this too- it works at first setup and then later it starts causing network hangs and system crashes, and our Helpdesk solution has been to uninstall the Desktop client and install the older 9.1.7 version.  We can't continue this forever though.

Re: Mac OS crashes

We've seen similar, where it works fine at setup and then later after it goes home it causes network hangs or system crashes (with 9.1.8 and 9.1.9).  The Helpdesk's solution has been to uninstall client and install older 9.1.7, but that can't keep on forever.

Re: Mac OS crashes

Yes, I have been setting that on VPN roles, with IPv4 checked

Traffic Enforcement (Applicable with Pulse on Windows, MAC OSX)
Should traffic policies be enforced on the client?

Re: Mac OS crashes

The main changes in the later client is support for system extension for traffic enforcement.  the previous release used kernel extension which is no longer supported in macOS 11.0 (big sur).

Is the crashing happening on Catalina and below or Big Sur?

Same question... only version 9.1r8.0-b3143 available on official link.

(Mac OS Big Sur Betas & RC now and stuck for weeks unable to connect to my company VPN)
